We then work together to identify your unique strengths and assets, set goals, and identify the steps necessary to achieve those goals.
Our unique home health assessment process is grounded in scientific literature and draws from the principles of multiple ancient and indigenous healing cultures, including Curanderismo, Traditional Chinese Medicine, and Ayurveda.
The assessment focuses on a wide range of items linked to health. Just a few examples include:
Exposure to toxic chemicals in the home
Sleep environment
Nutrition and diet
Safety and accessibility
Stress and work-life balance
Relationships and family histories
Culture and intergenerational social conditions
Exercise and movement
Relationships with the Divine, spiritual practices, and beliefs
Green space and exposure to nature
Healing Home Makeovers
Using health assessment findings, we will work together to prioritize changes that can bring a heightened sense of wellbeing into your space. These changes can be large or small and can be tailored to your interests and budget. Examples include:
De-cluttering
Furniture placement and re-decorating
Remodeling or new construction selections
Cabinet/pantry clean-outs to replace toxic household products and foods with healthier alternatives
Energy cleansing, feng shui cures, and more
Workshops & Group Events
The Home Remedy offers group education and workshops on a variety of topics related to wellbeing. If you are part of a community group that would be interested in hosting a workshop, please contact us and let the collaboration begin!
Island Apothecary
Focusing on botanicals that can be grown right here in Galveston, we educate and empower clients to use herbs for healing body and spirit. We also produce seasonal, small-batch teas, tinctures, salves, and more in-house as well as provide education on growing and making your own medicinal, nutritive, cleaning, and self-care products.

2 hour healing home makeover sessions 2x/week in months 1 & 2 to tackle major projects and rapidly transform your living space to better align with your wellness and relationship goals, then 1x/month in months 3 & 4 to follow up
